Holding tanks ranging in size from 1,000 gallons to 2,000 gallons are most common, however, tanks can be as large as 10,000 gallons. While holding tanks are not recommended for installation on newly developed lots, there are some developed lots which do not have adequate area for a sewage treatment system. Holding tanks are constructed of the same materials and by the same procedures as septic tanks. |
